Our database contains records for over 4000 feature films made by Canadians since 1960. Users of the site can create maps of film production, can link film production to public policy and generate nets of film professionals. The T.S. Bakshi Herbarium was founded in 1985 by Dr. T.S. Bakshi. It contains approximately 3,000 specimens which include more than 800 species of vascular plants. The majority of specimens originate from the Athabasca region and from Kananaskis, but many other parts of Canada are represented. Collections of mushrooms will be added in the future. The digital collection currently holds over 600 specimens including one specimen from each genus in our collection.

In 2001 a group of retirees, Canadians and Americans, who served on the JAWS began to collect photographs and other memorabilia about the stations. The group has put together a rough collection of photographs, documents, bibliographies and stories capturing the history of the five stations. The collection is primarily based on the personal recollections of those who experienced life at these isolated stations - the furthest north stations in Canada.
